Our Mission To the Breed

You likely have seen us on viral social media posts. You may have seen us on Television newscasts. You may have seen us in NYC participating in puppy yoga. 

Where you won't see us is in the show ring, but that doesn't make us any less important. 

We grab the attention of everyone who sees us. We are the rare Dalmatians. The ones with the nearly lost colors and coats. We are loud, different, and flashy. What we are not is the result of crossbreeding. 

We are original, historic, and extraordinary. A rare and finite group of Dalmatians possessing nearly lost original genetics that are now thankfully being preserved. 

What you see is what makes us special. Colors and coats that are misunderstood but very much a part of the breeds earliest history. Colors and coats that in no way negatively affect the health of the Dalmatian unlike they can in other breeds, original variations within the breed that opinionated clubs tried to quietly erase. 

Here at Inky Dink we have spent years and countless hours searching the globe far and wide for these nearly lost genetics. We relied heavily on DNA testing to identify these original Dalmatian lines. Now thankfully they are being preserved and making waves once again. 

While these colors and coats won't be seen in the conformation ring, they are in fact registered with AKC and will be seen in AKC performance events.  

Here at Inky Dink we are dedicated to preserving these traits as part of the breeds earliest history, and why not? Can we just be honest here? These variations are not only a healthy option they are breathtakingly beautiful dogs, and these spectacular canine specimens have a richly historical connection to the breed.   

We have a variety of puppies available for adoption. They are highly socialized with children and other pets through puppy yoga and puppy snuggles which effectively ensures they are well-adjusted and ready for their new homes.

We want to make sure that every puppy finds the perfect home, and we also want to make sure the puppy buying experience feels warm and welcoming. Never will you be treated like you are under a microscope or not be given the benefit of the doubt like happens with some breeders and even some rescues. Our confidence in a happy home for your new puppy or dog is making sure you are also happy. Happy people=happy pets. We strive to achieve this not by being a critic towards you but through education and hands on experiences.  

We value our customers and are committed to providing ongoing support and guidance to our puppy owners. In conjunction with our puppy snuggle events we include our I.N.F.O. program.

(Interactive, Networking, Fun, and Owning responsibly) which is available to the public. The I.N.F.O. program provides detailed education and advice on subjects like, dog: training, nutrition, health, and many more in depth subjects surrounding dog ownership. While we believe the program to be invaluable, you don't have to enroll in I.N.F.O for our support. We are always a phone call away and available to help.

As any highly successful business we endure our share of competitors, animal rights groups, and the usual and predictable online bullying. Sometimes it stoops to downright dishonest claims about our program.
